I've resisted having a web site for so long, I've forgotten why I didn't want one. The reason I'm doing this now, (far past it's potential usefulness), is to make available some of the work I've done and the work I'm doing all in one location.

This is not a forum for opinions; not yours or mine. Though I believe (at least today) that I would welcome questions, if you have any.

Nor is it a source for biographical or personal information. There's plenty of that out there/here in cyber land; mostly inaccurate and trust me, even the real version isn't all that interesting.

On this site are some of the records I've worked on either as a writer, a player, a producer or all of the above.

I've most recently been focusing on more playing and improvising in concert. Mostly, because it's a great challenge and I've always dreamed of making it part of my everyday musical life. So now it is.

I've also been writing for ballet with the Martha Graham Company as well as some original pieces.

Another addition is musical theater and I have numerous projects in the works with various collaborators. Who knows, one may actually go into production one day, if all the stars align.

And for the first time in a while, I'm producing a few records.

The world has changed a lot for musicians in the last 15 years or so, and it's become somewhat confusing for those of us that have been lucky enough to make a living in music since (in my case) the 70's. That I currently have some things to work on that I'm excited about is very satisfying. We should all be so lucky, and honestly it's taken me far too long to figure out that that's the only decent reason to do it at all.
